Hands down, this was the classiest car meet I've been to yet. Which made me feel totally out of place!
This weekend I was down in MD (from NJ) for the weekend with a friend. Saturday we had nothing to do so we drove an hour and a half from Charles county, up to Germantown for this car meet that I read about on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I figured it would be like cars and coffee, where you have a mix of everything, but boy was I wrong.

I drove up in my 2004 Marauder, and my friend drove a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! 745i, which belongs to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! who lives in Maryland. He was out all day so he let us take the BMW along for the trip. It was the first time it was ever on a long road trip and it did great, managed 21.65mpg round trip.

8am, getting coffee in down town La Plata.
Anyways, we finally make it to the event about 45 minutes late (going into town put us off schedule by half an hour, whoops). We roll into this country club and find the parking lot, and all I see are exotics, exotics everywhere. I figured.... shit, we're going to look way out of place.
Anyways, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Eventually these two clean BMW's rolled in, a 330i ZHP followed by a E39 M5. The girl driving the ZHP was taking pictures of the 745i, so she must know what an e23 is. Or she was sending it to her friends saying "look at this ugly piece of shit!"

It was a good meet. We hit a ton of traffic leaving because their was a big town event going on, but the BMW had no issues with its 3 hours of round trip driving.

yeah I kind of figured it was a bit to old to be an E30, but I don't really know about BMW's past that era. As always I try to get the names as close as I can but I always miss some odd balls. Thats the first time I've seen that body style in person

That r8 and gallardo in a line look so similar if you scroll fast. Driving home from SC this summer we pasted an all white e30 m3, that was slightly stanced on big white rims. Coincidence? I think not. I bet it was the same car. My brother(190e30) posted about it, but its to far back in history.

We were coming home from SC and my dad spotted it and called e30 when it was a speck. We were in about 20mph traffic and saw him swerving around, and thought he was just having fun, turns out he was avoiding the potholes in the road so the wheels didn't hit the inside of the fenders.
